My client is looking for a creative code loving geek to join our digital development team in Manchester.
The right person will be a PHP ninja, know their way around Linux command line and enjoy burying their head in a good MYSQL database.
The team looks after 46 radio station websites all around the UK, from Inverness in the far north to Southampton in the South. We produce innovative tools that connect our radio stations to their audience.
The perfect candidate will tick all of these boxes;
Loads of commercial experience of PHP and Zend framework.Experienced in Javascript and Jquery.Must have great working knowledge of SVN and version control, especially using Beanstalk.A database design guru using MYSQL and file database systems such as MongoDB and NoSQL.Experienced in building applications for scalability and high traffic, using tools such as memcache and APC cache.A Web services expert, fluent in XML and JSONP.A hosting geek with experience of linux command line, apache and server management.Impeccable attention to detail and great at time management.
