The company are a gold Microsoft certified partner with 30 employees, consisting of a development team of 15 developers with 4 lead developers. The company deliver business solutions to the finance and retail industry.

The company has various teams with their structure to focus on different elements to the project life cycle. The company has a position for a senior .Net developer within their Professional Services Team. The Professional Services Team focus on the customer journey and the support of the projects following deployment, the team is made up of projects manages and a senior support developer. The senior .Net developer within the team is the position they are currently looking to fill.

The position is for a developer who enjoys the business needs behind the development projects and revels in the analysis and problem solving of tricky development tasks. This role would suit a .Net developer who is engineering orientated and who has a deep technical understanding across .Net (C# and VB ideally) with both web and windows applications.

The position will see the .Net developer work on their own projects as well as part of the Project Team. The .Net developer will focus on the additional development tasks for existing clients on projects which have already been deployed. The projects will be bespoke projects which will interface with existing systems within the clients’ business. These will be projects that either enhances existing applications or they will be complete new projects for additional functionalities.
An ideal skill set for the role will be:
5 years experience of C# and VB.Net development
ASP.Net, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Ajax
SQL Server 2005 / 2008, SSRS and SSAS
Experience of working with UML principles is ideal as well as working with Team Foundation Server.
Experience of having worked on enterprise level, N tier projects would be beneficial.
This .Net development position requires someone who can apply themselves to multiple task at any given time, you need to demonstrate excellent non technical communication skills of technical projects, you need to be able to project manage yourself, do your own estimations and costings and see projects through the full development life cycle from conception to delivery. You will be working with many teams both internally and externally on these projects.
