An award winning full service digital agency in Leeds is looking to developer its technical team with a senior appointment. The company specialise in eCommerce, mCommerce and Social commerce projects for a number of international organisations. The company have a long standing reputation for delivering successful campaigns which guarantee ROI for their clients.
The position this company currently has is for a lead developer to work on a variety of projects for the company. These will include, but not be limited to, the company’s unique software platform which supports clients’ websites, ecommerce platforms and business applications. You will be required to work on bespoke projects to meet individual client requirements. Your role will cover relational database development and object oriented programming, coupled with some business analysis, technical specifications, testing and various internal operations. You will be expected to continually exceed client expectations ensuring that best practice and industry standards are met at all times. You will be involved in the technical strategy for the department and the internal development of the team technically.
The company is looking for an experienced, ideally 5 years or more, lead PHP developer with a background working on ecommerce and PCI compliant sites. You will need to have experience in PHP 4 and 5, PostgreSQL, XML along with Linux, Apache, Web server knowledge, understanding of communication technologies such as TCP/IP, Proxies, FTP, Unix, Linux and shell skills as well as AJAX. You will need to be able to back up your technical expertise with personal attributes in time and team management, ideally in an official management position previously. You will have client management skills which will help you define projects, advise clients and lead projects through to their successful delivery.

The company is offering a salary of £30,000 to £40,000 plus depending on experience with 25 days holiday and a number of other quirky perks.
