Job Details:
Our client is fast growing financial firm based in Macclesfield with offices in London. They are currently looking for an experienced Linux Administrator with strong LAMP, Centos, and PHP skills to join their quickly expanding team. The Role;
• To work within our clients IT operations dept leading a team of Linux and Oracle administrators • Complete administration and support of Linux web servers • All internal fixing, tweaking, and security of the network • involvement with internal servers running server 2003 and exchange. The Person;
• Proven experience in LAMP • Interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels • Ability to establish and strengthen relationships quickly • Good customer focus • Attention to detail and technically minded • Ability to stay calm under pressure
Technical Ability with;
• Experience with LAMP • Scipting with PHP, and JAva • Manual networking setup, user admin and system security • System monitoring tools • Open source software, Installation and resolving dependencies • Redhat Enterprise Advanced Server • Databases (Oracle RAC and MYSQL) • preferable hands on experience with Centos 5.6 and SELinux Enforcing In return my client is offering a competitive salary, a chance to work in a fast moving company with a wealth of entrepreneurial backing, and the ability to be involved with all future tech advances for the company.
