Job Details:
As part of our rapidly growing business we are looking for an ambitious .NET developer to join our team. Reporting directly into the Managing Director we are looking for someone with a passion for technology and the web.
Role
· Liaise directly with the design and sales team to scope out the clients / projects requirements
· Consider and challenge all technical requirements
· Evolve and build commercially viable web
· Strong interpersonal skills to liaise with, Directors, Sales, Project Manager and SEO team
· Career minded with a view to becoming an integral part of the agencies fabric
· Willingness to implement projects on time and to budget
· Ability to manage multiple projects
· Effective time management
Responsibilities:
· Work with the technical and project management team
· Maintain and evolve existing CMS
· Identify and fix any system errors
· Take technical specs for new and existing customers
· Produce new web applications for customers
· Meet and maintain best practice coding standards
Technical Attributes:
· XTHML / CSS 2, JavaScript, DOM etc
· W3C web standards, Semantic Markup
· Practical knowledge of Accessibility (WAI A, AA, AAA)
· ASP.net 2.0 / 3.5 (Preferably C# )
· LINQ
· AJAX
· CMS Experience
· Windows Server 2003, IIS etc
· MS SQL SERVER (2000 / 2005)
· XML, XSLT, XPath etc
· Experience of N-Tier OO development and industry best practices
