Responsibilities
My client are looking for a web developer with experience of web development, developing W3C standards compliant web applications for our clients. You will work within a team of flash developers, HTML coders and graphic designers.
The successful candidate will have experience of the full project lifecycle and will be able to demonstrate significant lead development experience on at least one of the following types of web applications
CRM systems (user registration / data capture)
User generated content management and display
CMS systems
E-commerce sites.
You will have excellent communication skills, have client facing experience, and be able to create technical project specifications based on client briefs and document projects in a clear and accurate manner.
Person Specification
Experience developing with Asp.net 3.5 / Visual Studio 2008.
Solid OO development and design experience
SQL server T-SQL development and Relational Database Design
IIS, Windows 2003/2008, SQL Server 2005/2008 administration and configuration
Understanding of structural (X) HTML, CSS and unobtrusive JavaScript
Experience in the following areas
Development of secure web applications protecting user information, credit card details
PCI legislation and implications.
DDA legislation and implications.
Experience in the following areas would be preferred, but not essential:
Ajax.net
XML – XSLT – Web Services
Active Record, nHibernate, nUnit, Lucene.net, fluent.net
AJAX / JavaScript development using jQuery / prototype
Microsoft SharePoint
