Job Details:
My client is a nationally recognised web design and application development consultancy who specialise in usability consultancy, content management, e-commerce and integration solutions.
They are now looking to bring on board a Senior Project Manager to oversee some of their major accounts.
You will have a strong understanding of technical web development, be able to analyse and specify complex requirements and have the ability to deliver on time and on budget over and over again.
Knowledge of formal project management methodologies such as PRINCE 2 would be beneficial, but excellent personal organisation, planning, and understanding of project risk is essential. You will also contribute to the production and sales process and maintaining excellent relationships with both clients and other team members.
Key Responsibilities:
To gather, analyse and document project requirements To deliver projects on time and on budget To communicate positively and effectively with our clients and internal team To lead and work with the designer, developers and other studio staff in a team capacity Keep all project documentation up to date – specs, project plan, meetings notes Plan resource requirements and feed into production scheduling Liaise with Commercial dept over contracts Financial and commercial reporting
Skills and Experience required:
At least 3 years experience of Project Management and/or Business Analysis PRINCE 2 training is beneficial but not essential Knowledge of MS Office products – particularly, Project, Visio, Excel, Word and Outlook Ability to understand complex requirements and translate them into simple steps Exceptional communication To be organised, clear thinking and efficient Excellent prioritisation skills
