Google To Compete with Microsoft

Google has announced that it is going into direct competition with Microsoft Windows with the launch of its operating system for laptop users.
The system will be called Google Chrome and will initially be a number of netbooks. The aim is to supply the market with a system which enables internet access in seconds without the interruption of virus alerts and updates to manage. The netbooks are due to go on sale in the latter part of next year.
Sundar Pichai, the vice president of product management, commented that it is Google’s “attempt to re-think what operating systems should be”.
