A digital marketing agency needs an organised and methodical individual to help them to plan, track and deliver digital campaigns. As part of a European marketing group, the company has an international client base requiring fully integrated digital campaigns including SEO, PPC, Social media, Web Design and Web Development. The project manager role is to fit into a team of 15 individuals; you will be the support for this department in their organisation and co-ordination.
The position requires someone with the ability to multi-task, to delegate and with a certain level of experience within the digital field, either online marketing or web design/development. You won’t be required to be hands with any projects but you will need to be able to give advice with knowledge about the technologies and methodologies used by the team.
As project manager you will be in charge of the project planning with the technical team members. You will be in charge of the technical documentation; you will outline timelines and ensure they are met. You will coordinate the resources in the team and work with any 3rd party suppliers ensuring that all projects are run smoothly and delivered to the client on time and on budget.
You will need to demonstrate exceptional project management skills; this doesn’t need a PRINCE 2 qualification, simply previous experience of project managing, ideally within a digital agency previously. However, demonstrating the ability to project manage multiple campaigns at any given time will also be accepted if not in an agency environment.
You have to have a passion for delivering campaigns, which meet the client’s needs, on time and in budget. You will love the digital industry, taking an interest in all its mediums. You will thrive on organising people and projects and be able to demonstrate these both professionally and personally.
