Job Details:
My client is an excited media planning buying agency with offices in Leeds and London.
They are looking for a senior planner/buyer to join the offline team in the Leeds office, to work closely with clients to ensure delivery of high quality product and take responsibility for day-to-day running of accounts. The focus of the media will be Television (TV)
Essential requirements:
- Offline media planning & buying experience ideally gained within an agency or client role
- Experience of developing sustainable client confidence and ownership of accounts
- Proficient knowledge of the media landscape in terms of TV market, stations, rates and publishers, products
- Strong negotiation skills across TV and radio, ideally also press/inserts
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to communicate at all levels both internally and with clients and partner agencies
Broad knowledge of offline planning tools such as, but not limited to the following:
- TGI
- DDS
- Mediatel
- Ad Dynamix
- Jicrig
Desirable
* Demonstrate involvement in new business development presentations & pitches
* Data analysis experience, including reporting back to clients
* Examples of cross-selling to a client across any media channel
