Junior PPC Leeds
My client is a leading digital media agency with bases In Leeds, London and Manchester. Due to expansion they are looking for a junior PPC to join their team. The role does not requite a great amount of PPC experience, however it does require strong excel skills.
As a key member of the interactive team, this person will be a key part of the search department and will be responsible for delivering high-quality digital marketing support to some the major online clients. They will also be responsible for the implementation of search strategy.
Required skills and experience:
Highly Proficient in using the Microsoft Office suite of products, particularly Excel
Strong web and computer literacy
Excellent numerical and analytical skills
Job holder must be educated to degree level, a particular academic focus on analytical marketing, mathematics, statistics, business systems, computing science or other strong analytical subject would be highly desirable
Work experience or placement within a marketing, or data analysis role would also be desirable
Job holder must be highly organised, have strong administrative skills, be capable of working to tight deadlines and pay very close attention to detail when executing tasks
An understanding of the digital media channel and the opportunity it presents to advertisers
An interest and understanding of the following markets would be desirable: travel, retail, health and finance, automotive
Job holder must have strong commercial awareness and be prepared to develop strong client-interface and negotiation skills
All applicants must display strong presentation and communication skills.
Job holder must be able to cope under pressure, and be flexible in contributing to the business
Knowledge of the broader media industry would be desirable
Should be tactful and discreet in dealing with confidential information
Key Job Functions
Delivery of best in class service to key clients setting and delivering online search strategy.
Assist in the development of differentiated search proposition, growing income to the agency. Improve search performance across all clients and develop their specialist area
Delivery of paid search strategy, campaign coordination and delivery of pre-set campaign targets etc.
Attending client meetings, taking detailed notes and developing action plans and contact reports Ensure that administration both individually and across the team is faultless
Demonstration of strong commercial focus when dealing with suppliers or client’s financial or business dealings
Assist the head of search in maximizing efficiencies within the search department. Keep at the forefront of new opportunities within the search marketplace that will enable improve online campaign performance. Drive adoption of best practice within the agency. Encourage innovation in all that we do.
Work with the reporting and analytics unit to deliver insightful cutting edge reporting that enables actionable output to improve campaign performance.
Assist the Head of Interactive and other senior members of the agency with the development of new business opportunities
Production of strong analytical presentations as part of client management governance or as part of new business generation
Work with other departments within the agency to deliver integrated media planning and buying strategies in particular TV, outdoor, radio and press
Development of a strong understanding of the markets within which our clients operate
Develop an excellent understanding of core planning tools including Mosaic, TGI net, Neilsen and Addynamix
Building relationships with suppliers and clients
This is a very exciting role, and will involve full training and development
