A Creative Director is needed for a multi-faceted communications agency. This communications company uses film and DVD, graphic and web, photography and training materials to accommodate the needs of their public and private sector clients.
The company is a 20 strong design team set up in 1994 by the 2 directors. There is now a position for Creative Director to manage and direct the studio. Although this role is one of authority it is still very much hands on, you’ll need to be able and willing to create ideas for the clients and be able to execute them. You’ll be able to give design ideas and inspirations to the team with suggestions of what you consider to be the correct approach. You’ll give the account handlers inspired ideas to take on the client meetings. The company is very much about a pro-active approach as opposed to a reactive one.
A strong background in graphic design is ideal but having branched out into other media’s is similarly a benefit to your application. A solid knowledge of Quark, InDesign and illustrator as well as HTML, CSS, Flash, 3D Studio Max, Director, after effects and any other multimedia programs would be a great advantage.
