Job Details:
A mid - senior developer required at a very reputable, award winning digital agency. You will bring alive the ambitions to be the digital consultancy of choice for arts, culture, heritage and leisure. As a fast paced consultancy, you will be an experienced, brilliant individual with outstanding technical capabilities, high work ethic, flexible attitude and good communication skills.
Working on client projects alongside our in-house designers and one other PHP developer, you will be expected to deliver technical excellence at all times in programming languages including HTML, CSS, JavaScript & OOP PHP, using Git Version Control and meeting W3C standards for accessibility. A Senior Developer at delivers both front-end and back-end solutions. You will be expected to work with and develop best-in-class software in-house, including our Content Management System.
You should continuously demonstrate a wider commitment to the digital industry, with a passion for sharing and applying the latest innovations with relevance, including those related to social networking platforms and mobile apps.
Main Responsibilities:
To create, design and code superior technical solutions, delivering a variety of exceptional websites.
To programme in HTML, CSS, JavaScript & OOP PHP, meeting W3C standards for accessibility.
To follow and develop the development processes.
To work within the framework on our Content Management System for all sites.
To execute and proactively manage project work plans and a personal schedule for every activity.
To embrace testing, including unit testing, cross-browser and mobile device compatibility.
To easily recognise system deficiencies and to proactively implement effective solutions.
To continuously drive the improvement of our Content Management System.
To seek out new, relevant technologies and innovations for project relevant application.
To drive agency best practice in digital communications, advising the Wonder team of best approach to achieve objectives, whilst meeting coding standards, including accessibility.
To apply knowledge of client server and internet systems architectures.
To proactively manage the server for best possible operational service.
To support the maintenance of an internal network and back-up system.
You need to be an experienced self starter, be able to hit the ground running and able to work with minimum supervision.
