Media Executive – Press / Inserts / TV / Radio Leeds
A media planning and buying agency in Leeds is looking for a new member for its offline team. The company has developed, over its 10 years in existence, to be the market leader in customer acquisition for its clients, which include international, house hold brands. The company has the best of both worlds in the market, being a small agency (50 people) they can adapt to changes quickly and make sure that everyone has an input in to the company and its culture. However, it has the backing of one of the largest organisations within the marketing arena for capital investment and to help them attract the big clients with big budgets.
The company has a Leeds and London office; the company work as a team and very much pool their resources from both offices to work on their projects. This position is for the Leeds office. The offline team deal with campaigns across TV, press, radio and outdoor.
Because of the set up of the company, the team each handle their own accounts as well as being hands on in the implementation of the campaigns. Everyone within the team is in a client facing role and needs to have the confidence and entrepreneurial mindset to guide and drive their clients and their campaigns forward.
The company need someone who can demonstrate account management ability. You need to be able to demonstrate the ability to manage and deliver the campaigns to the clients on time and on budget through clear project management skills. You will be able to formulate and implement response analysis. You be able to assist in the preparation of pitches and with material for client meetings. You have a wide knowledge of many, if not all, media channels (online and offline) to allow you to develop and outline media objectives to meet the needs and targets of the client in their campaign.
This role will have the potential for the right person to involve into fully fledged Media Planner / Buyer. Part of the executives’ role which will lead into this senior position is the co-ordination of the day to day planning and buying requirements and the management of the plans and execution of buying media. You will help prepare plans using planning tools such as TGI, DDS, Mediatel and Ad Dynamix and others.
