Job Details:
My client is a well established online travel agency with a turnover of in excess of £100 mill per year.
The User Experience Manager will be the voice of the online customer in the business. The person will be responsible for all drivers of online conversion including website look & feel, consistency, and on-page SEO programmes.
Key Responsibilities
·Help to develop the website in a way which ensures that the company meets its conversion targets
·Own the online user experience.
·Implement and champion improvements to achieve optimal conversion and maximise repeat business.
·Ensure flow and logic consistency for the website.
·Use web analytic and other tools to identify areas for website improvement.
·Monitor key competitors providing exceptional user experience.
·Carry out regular usability and other customer interviews and research to improve site performance.
·Optimise landing and other key pages for SEO and conversion purposes.
·Promote enhancements to the website to improve conversion and generate incremental revenues.
·Manage delivery of such enhancements as required.
·Coordinate usability testing on all website changes with a customer impact
Required Skills
·Passion for the Internet and ecommerce.
·Knowledge of usability and user interface design principles.
·Knowledge of web standards and best practice.
·Good team player with an open and collaborative style.
·Strong analytical, communication and organisational skills.
